Kathleen Ford

Kathleen is a passionate & caring degree-qualified counsellor.

Forever a ‘people-person’, Kathleen began her career with 10 years in the beauty industry followed by 5 years in the airline industry. She then found her calling to help people through counselling, yoga, meditation and most recently, tapping.

Motivated by a desire to help others, Kathleen completed her Bachelor of Counselling at the Australian College of Applied Psychology. Continuously curious, Kathleen continues to study. Her most recent studies have been in Emotional Freedom Techniques - a tapping therapy to complement talk therapy.

When not counselling, she is busy being a mum. Understanding the immense transition and challenges to parenthood, she's passionate about helping with pre and postnatal mental health and has completed further studies with the Centre of Perinatal Excellence.

Kathleen is a genuine, warm-hearted person with a passion for helping people navigate whatever difficulties they may face. This is achieved through modalities such as Person-Centered Counselling, which is an empathetic, non-judgmental and compassionate approach to counselling. Kathleen combines her training as a Counsellor and Yoga / Meditation Teacher, offering a holistic approach to dealing with the stresses of everyday life.
