You want to train your brainwaves but be guided by an experienced clinician.
A good home neurofeedback system is adaptable to you! Some cheap systems use a headband-shaped sensor. These train only a handful of locations. Great if you need those locations worked on - but what happens if you need somewhere else? How do you know if you need to train somewhere else?
That's where a clinician who is experienced in neuro-rehabilitation and neurofeedback comes into it. When someone is there to assess and manage you, you get a more tailored & detailed program.
How does Home Neurofeedback Work?
We'll send you all the equipment that you need.
We'll then arrange a face to face or telehealth consultation to teach you to set it up and use it.
When you are ready to do a consultation, you'll set yourself up and log in to your account. You can sit back and relax while you are training. You might even catch up on Netflix.
Just like a face to face consultation, your sessions are monitored by a neurofeedback practitioner. This means that we can alter and progress your training sessions as well as decide when it's time to 'graduate'.
Will I still get an opportunity to ask questions?
Yes - of course! It's important to understand not only what you are doing, but why you are doing it.
You may feel something strange or new and wonder if it's related to your training or not. Could your improved sleep be a coincidence? Is it possible to feel more energetic?
At these regular check-ins, we may also give you other home exercises to do or suggest small changes to your diet, sleep & lifestyle. We take a full body approach to health.
These check ups can be done in person or online.
