Vanessa Tan

Associate Dietitian / Nutritionist & Feeding Therapist

Accredited Practising Dietitian Vanessa Tan is passionate about helping people feel more confident and supported in navigating nutrition.

Vanessa holds a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics from Monash University and has experience across private practice, paediatric feeding therapy, pregnancy health coaching and nutrition research. She works with adults, children and families across a range of areas, with particular interests in disordered eating and improving relationships with food, gastrointestinal health, women’s health, chronic disease management and feeding concerns.

Vanessa understands that nutrition is rarely as simple as knowing what to eat. Food choices can be shaped by health conditions, family life, culture, finances, emotions, past experiences and the many demands of everyday life. Her approach is therefore compassionate, non-judgemental and tailored to each person’s individual circumstances.

Rather than providing rigid rules or unrealistic plans, Vanessa works collaboratively with her clients to develop practical and sustainable strategies that feel achievable in real life. She values taking the time to listen, understand what matters most to each person and create a space where clients feel comfortable discussing food, health and their relationship with their body.

Vanessa’s practice is grounded in evidence-based care, curiosity and genuine connection. Her goal is to help clients better understand their nutritional needs while building the knowledge, skills and confidence to make changes that support their health and wellbeing over the long term.
