Dr Susan Roberts
Senior Psychologist PhD
Susan feels privileged to support people through some of the most challenging times in their lives. She is passionate about empowering her clients to focus on what they can control, develop healthy and balanced ways of navigating life’s challenges, and create a life that reflects what matters most to them — no matter what obstacles they may face.
With over 25 years’ experience as a registered psychologist, Susan brings warmth, knowledge and a practical approach to her work. Alongside her private practice, she has held research roles at Cancer Council Victoria and the Heart Research Centre, which have deepened her interest in supporting people living with cardiovascular disease and cancer. She has also consulted on reviews and evaluations of health programs across community and hospital settings.
In her clinical practice, Susan works with adolescents, adults and older adults facing a wide range of mental health concerns and life challenges. She takes an integrative approach, drawing on evidence-based therapies tailored to each individual’s needs.
Susan creates a safe, respectful and supportive space where clients feel heard and understood. She helps people make sense of the challenges they are facing, recognise their strengths, and build practical skills to move forward with confidence and resilience.
In her spare time Susan loves spending time with friends, walks on the beach, reading, time in the garden, going to gym and travelling.
