Our clinic is on Ascot Vale Road, just down from the Moonee Ponds Junction. We are two doors up from the old blue Greek restaurant, The Iliad.

By public transport from Moonee Ponds

The Moonee Ponds railway station is 700m away, an 8-minute walk to the clinic.

The 82 tram goes right past the clinic, stopping just a 150m walk from the clinic at the Moonee Ponds Junction. That is also the bus stop for the 404 and 472 buses.

Medicare rebates

You might be eligible for Medicare rebates for Chiropractic & Dietetic appointments. Medicare will pay for the majority of your consultation fees but there’s still a small out of pocket expense.

Private health insurance

We offer on the spot rebates for most services - swipe your card and just pay the gap. No need to run around with receipts. Private health rebates are usually claimable for extras cover for Chiropractic, Remedial Massage, Myotherapy, Chinese Medicine and Dietetics.

There’s great variation between policies and companies. So check with your fund if you have questions about how much you’ll get back. From our experience, rebates can range from 15% to 100%.

Sassi Fit - Women’s health fitness with a twist. Caroline and her team will whip you into shape while providing you with a laugh. These guys specialise in women’s health, including pre- and post-natal.

The Boathouse Cafe - Go for a walk around the river and plonk yourself down for a woodfire pizza or coffee overlooking the river. Right next to the cafe, there’s the rotunda with a moat around it. Cassie, one of our Chiropractors, used to try to catch yabbies here as a kid - pretty sure there are no yabbies there but it provided hours of entertainment.

Il Caminetto Restaurant - Need an old school italian feed? Head over to Pascoe Vale Rd opposite Queens Park Pool and try one of their amazing pastas or pizzas. Also do vegan and gluten free if you ask. Their gluten free pizza bases are pretty tasty, even non gluten free people say.

Queens Park Moonee Ponds - Wedged between Mt Alexander and Pascoe Vale Roads Queens Park is a little oasis in the concrete jungle. There's the lake/pond with secret islands, a cafe, lawn bowls and a public swimming pool (open in summer only), plus loads of grass to hang out and pass the time until your Body and Brain Centre appointment time.

Past Tense Books - Need a good read? Nip into Past Tense Books just up on Mt Alexander Rd facing the Moonee Ponds tram and bus hub. Dino and his crew have recently taken over and given this second hand bookstore a serious reshuffle. Can’t find (or don’t have the time to look) for what you want? Just ask. They always seem to know exactly what they have.

Dean Street Hill -  Are you a runner who needs to do some hill work or a bike rider who needs to work on their calf strength? Nip over to Dean Street and do a few up and down (or down and up) rounds. Gentler inclined than Ormand Rd hill but feels twice as long. Plus there's less traffic.
